No skill is necessary, just a desire to enjoy the water and the natural high you get from sailing.

Captain Redbeard is known for his hospitality and sense of humor. If you have a special event in mind that you would like to incorporate into your sail, just let us know. Come on board to get engaged, married, or just to enjoy some family fun and get away from the crowds. Liberty can accommodate up to six guests.

Where will Liberty be?

Sailing Vessel Liberty is pleased to announce its 2009 season in the Chesapeake Bay. After sailing three years and logging over 8,000 ocean miles from New England to the southern tip of the West Indies, Liberty has returned to her Chesapeake roots. Captain Redbeard grew up sailing in Annapolis and is thrilled to ply his local waters once more.
