FAQs

- 1. How many people can Liberty accommodate?
- Liberty can accommodate up to six guests.
If your party is larger than six, we can usually arrange to go in tandem with another 6-passenger charter boat.
- 2. What about the weather?
- We listen to, watch, and read detailed information about weather 365.
Fortunately, the weather is usually pretty good, if not great. We will not go out in lightening, confused seas or other uncomfortable weather.
If this happens, we will gladly reschedule for a mutually agreeable date.
- 3. What about safety?
- We are one of the larger day charter boats, built for safety, comfort and good times.
We adhere to all federal, state and international safety standards, and Captain Redbeard is a US Coast-Guard Certified captain in excellent standing.
Relax and enjoy yourself!
- 4. How do I reserve Liberty?
- Just call or email us and we’ll find a date and time that works for you.

- 5. Is it OK to bring our own food and drinks?
- Certainly! There is room in our spacious cooler, and other non-cold items can be stowed until needed.
Consider this a picnic on the water.
- 6. Can you provide catering?
- Absolutely! Just tell us your needs, and we can arrange catering for your cruise.
- 7. What should I wear?
- Casual, comfortable clothing is the norm on Liberty.
While sailing, it is usually a few degrees cooler than it is on land, so plan accordingly.
Please wear shoes with a light-colored, rubber-sole (ie, sneakers), or just go barefoot-that's what we usually do.
- 8. Tell me about the boat!
- Sailing Vessel Liberty loves to sail.
We have been been as far north as New England and as far south as Trinidad, at the bottom of the Caribbean.
She also loves to sail with guests, so welcome aboard and enjoy the day!
